The Situation

Our initial discussion with Saisei highlighted the significant disparity between Japan's rapid bio-engineering advancements and their global recognition. Despite impressive innovations, a considerable transparency gap hampers effective market penetration. Saisei, aware of this hurdle, sought help in conveying their offerings and extending their reach to the global market, aiming to bridge this gap.

The Challenge

One of the main challenges in this project was creating a website that effectively conveyed the brand to a western and Japanese market, but one that retained its integrity when the languages would be switched.

The primary objective was to elevate Saisei's brand, reflecting its status as a global entity in the international bio-engineering sector representing hundreds of millions and a desirable collaborative partner.

The Solution

Our approach was strategic and multifaceted, aiming to elevate Saisei’s brand and digital presence through meticulous planning, design, and development.

Market Analysis: By examining the digital strategies of leading competitors, we identified opportunities for Saisei to distinguish itself. This analysis was instrumental in understanding the industry landscape and setting a benchmark for the project.

Visual Design: The heart of Saisei’s new identity was its minimalist geometric effect, inspired by some the works of Ikko Tanaka, an incredibly influential Japanese graphic designer from the early 1970’s. We seamlessly integrated this element throughout the website, from icons to backgrounds, ensuring visual consistency and brand recognition across all pages.

CMS Development: Opting for WordPress, known for its flexibility and ease of use, we crafted a lightweight yet powerful CMS platform. This choice ensured that Saisei’s team could manage their content efficiently without sacrificing performance.

The Results

The revitalization of Saisei’s website marked a significant milestone in their rebranding journey. The outcomes of this project were multifaceted and impactful:
